COACHES CODE OF CONDUCT
- Parents, who volunteer to Coach in Woodbridge Soccer Club, are
taking a major responsibility of educating and developing our
young players.
- The club feels our players deserve a worthwhile soccer
experience and enjoyable time.
- Coaches will be primarily be motivated by emotional well
being, development and enjoyment of players and not by any
personal desire to win.
- Don’t put any pressure on yours players, help to keep your
players focus on team participation.
- Coaches will be approachable to Players and Parents and will
encourage players to express their own comments.
- Coaches use proper conduct language is expected of all Coaches
both ON and OFF the FIELD.
- Coaches will be prepared to explain their actions and
decisions to players.
- Coaches will treat players with respect and respect the club
philosophy.
- Coaches will promote discipline and sporting behavior and be
positive to both individuals and teams.
- Coaches be encouragement and reinforce rather than criticism
and negative behavior.
- Coaches will coach players by explaining principles of the
game. Poor Sportsmanship will not be tolerated.
- Coaches you use a coaching style that resolves around shouting
and bellowing at players in not acceptable.
- Questioning refereeing decisions in wrong proper conduct is
not tolerate, if do it will be in a respectful manner that does
not set a negative example to players.
Notes to House League
Coaches:
-
Coaches will attend a mandatory coach’s clinic at
beginning of the season.
- All coaches will work under the guidance of the Technical
Director and Director of House
League.
