Congratulations to the Woodbridge Strikers West U16 Boys!  They were the finalists in the Destination Wembley International Tournament sponsored by Umbro.  We were unlucky in the penalty shots.  We lost 5-4 in the penalty shots to Roma.  Head Coach, Anibal Da Silva, Joe Rando, Renato Scalise and Regina Da Silva are very proud of the team as they made a great mark for themselves.  No one was expecting us to come so far!  We represented Canada, Woodbridge and our club with great talent.  Umbro was very proud as how the players, coaching staff and parents represented themselves.  Congratulations to William Mera who won the MVP award and Daniel Alonzi who won the Xbox Fifa 08 Tournament.

WSC Strikers East U9 Boys winners of the OSU Nike Challenge

Congratulations to the Woodbridge Strikers East U9 Boys team for winning the OSU Nike Challenge Cup held in Ottawa July 12/13. The team played exceptionally and was held in great awe and admiration by other coaches, parents and tournament organizers. The team won all 5 games beating Ottawa Royals, Goulbourn Gators, Glaucester Hornets in the preliminaries, then 3-1 against Brampton Bulls in the semis and 6-2 in the finals against Ottawa International. The Woodbridge Little Super Cup Tournament Update !!!

After an exciting week of European/Canadian competition that went hand in hand with the Euro 2008, a champion was crowned for the 19th annual Little Super Cup in Woodbridge. The North Scarborough Soccer Club defeated the Woodbridge Strikers U17 (OYSL) with a score of 2-1. The final was preceded with an exciting and entertaining match that ended with The WSC Coaches beating the Woodbridge politician team with a score of 1-0 scored by Fabio Rocca.

Congratulation to the Players, parents, and coaching staff of the WSC Strikers U10 Boys East on winning  the 2008 Challenge Cup Hosted by the Unionville Soccer Club.  The Boys won the final game 3 to 1 against the Brampton East Bulldogs 98 and they continue with their coach Lorenzo to make us proud day to day. Congratulations to the Strikers U12 Boys at the Little World Cup

Congratulations to the Woodbridge U12 Boys Team on being the finalist in the little world cup hosted by the CSL. Our boys lost 2-0 to North Scarborough in a hard fought final.
They competed well all weekend losing only in the final and defeating North Toronto 5-0, Uxbridge 5-1, Spartacus 1-1, The York Jets in the quarter Final 2-1, and the Hearts Azzurri 2-1 after penalty shoot out in the Semi Final.

Congratulations to the Woodbridge U16 Boys West team on winning the Umbro Showcase Tournament on May 19th.  The Woodbridge Soccer Club is proud to have both teams, West and East, at the final of this Showcase.
This was more than just a first place finish as the team earned a trip to England!!
The team will be playing at the Wembley Stadium Tournament.

The 1994 Girls (U14) coached by Coach Joe Parolini were Finalists in the U15 Ontario Division of the West Niagara Tournament. The girls ended up playing 6 games in 2 days.
A phenomenal feat considering that they played with only 13 players.  The team ended playing against 4 Premier teams & lost only to the Waterloo team.
