On Friday January 6th the Woodbridge Strikers Girls 2000 Entered the Ontario Soccer Associations Prestigious Snow Globe Shake-up indoor Tournament at Lamport Stadium. Entering the Tournament playing an age division older, these Girls were still determined to compete to win. During the round robin stage, the Girls Defeated Bram United, King City United and Clarkson Comets. Finishing first in their division the Girls were up against the opposing division winner the 2011 Ontario Cup champion Erin Mills Eagles. Both teams made it to the finals with identical records a perfect 3 win, 9 goals for and no goals against. Two evenly talented teams the Woodbridge Girls were not going to let the fact that they were a year younger put them at a disadvantage. Once the game started the Woodbridge Girls scored first and then used there exceptional talent to defend the 1-0 lead on route to winning the Tournament without conceding a single goal. Way to go Girls.

Woodbridge Strikers Girls 2000, shortly after their successful Championship Achievement in the 2010/11 Provincial Indoor Soccer League, the girls commenced their outdoor season by participating in this year’s West Niagara Tournament. The girls began their journey through to a knock-out round. This past weekend conditions to say the least were simply unbearable, high winds and cold rain continued through to the bitter end of this tournament. All these girls have to be commended for their continued determination to strive forward and to continue playing under such conditions. These girls continued to push onwards by not conceding a single goal in their final stages of this tournament allowing them to claim their first 2011 Girls Under 11 Outdoor Championship Tournament. Congratulation Girls, you all deserve it & Parents thank you for your continued support.

2010 RICHMONDHILL CHALLENG CUP CHAMPIONS |

The Woodbridge Strikers Girls 2000 ended the YRSL season with a perfect 12 win and 0 loses. This past weekend they participated in the Richmond Hill Challenge Cup and advanced to the semi-finals as a Wild Card. Determined to win they faced the Home Club Richmond Hill Raiders defeating them 1-0. Advancing to the finals they found themselves up against reining Champs Whitby Iroquis who defeated Woodbridge in the round robin stage, only to claim victory versus Whitby 3-2 in the Final. Way to go Woodbridge.

2010 HANGAR SPRING BREAK TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS |

Woodbridge Strikers Girls 2000 participated in The Hanger March Break Tournament. Woodbridge girls went through the round robin stage
defeating the Toronto Eagles, Darlington Strikers, and UMSC on route to a perfect record of 3-0. Once again facing UMSC in the semi's the girls
were determined to get to the finals rolling over the opposition 3-0. The finals proved to be more of a challenge ending regulation time in a 1-1 draw
forcing penalty kicks. After first round of kicks the girls found themselves still tied. But Woodbridge strikers Girls 2000 emerged Victorious, bringing another

Congratulation
to the Woodbridge Strikers Girls U9 team on there 1st place finish in the Georgetown
Soccer Tournament held on July 11, 12. Our girls played five games on route to
the Championship, making Georgetown History on the way by not allowing a single
goal against throughout the entire tournament. The Woodbridge Girls found themselves
facing the hometown team of Georgetown in the Finals. The Woodbridge girls defeated
Georgetown by a score of 2-0.
