2011 WEST NIAGARA INVITATIONAL FINALISTS |
Congratulations to the U9 North Boys team who were Finalists at the West Niagara Invitational Tournament this past weekend. Our boys played extremely well for their first outdoor tournament this season. Unfortunately we came up short in the Final game against Brampton Blast losing 4-3 in a hard fought, physical game. We outscored our opponents throughout the tournament by a score of 31-7 and beating teams from various districts. Although, we lost to Brampton in the Finals, they were one of our victims in the round robin phase losing to us 4-1 as we took top spot in our division with a perfect 3-0 record..
The coaching staff was very proud of the team’s performance on and off the field. Our team was the talk of the tournament form their style of play, to the mature behaviour to their sharp looking uniforms. Well done boys! Also, a special thank you to all the Mom’s that shared their special day with us on the pitch. Happy Mother’s Day and thank you for the dedication and support!

2010 MISSISSAUGA INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT U8 CHAMPIONS |
Congratulations to our U8 Boys A-team for winning the Mississauga International Tournament over the May long-weekend.
The coaching staff was very pleased with our team’s effort this weekend. The goal tending, defending and attacking was very effective throughout the tournament as we defeated Erin Mills Green and Gold, Mississauga Falcon’s and Whitby Iroquois to win the tournament. We out scored our opposition by a score of 13-5 in the first round. The team then tightened up on defense only conceding one goal in the semi finals with a 2-1 victory over the host Mississauga Falcon’s team and having shut out Whitby in the finals with a 2-0 win.
The boys did a great job on and off the field representing the Woodbridge Soccer Club with their game play, their team spirit, their behaviour and their sportsmanship.
Well done and Congratulations!

Memorial U7 All Star Soccer Classic |
Congratulations
to our 2002 Boys on another great tournament showing. Our boys dominated the round
robin phase of the Dave Morrison Memorial Classic U7 tournament beating teams
from Markham, Mississauga, Halton Hills and Windsor. We scored a tournament high
39 goals and only had 4 goals against with 3 shut outs. Every player on the bench
managed to score at least one goal. We started the final strong with an early
lead but found ourselves behind with only a few minutes remaining. Our boys battled
hard until the final whistle and we managed to end the game in a 3-3 draw, vs.
our local rivals Vaughan Azzurri. Unfortunately, we ended the tournament as runner
up as we were beaten by Vaughan in penalty kicks.
Once
again the coaching staff is extremely proud of our boys as they showed tremendous
energy, team work, dedication and a lot of class. Well done!

ALLISTON ALL-STAR MINI CLASSIC |
Congratulations
to our U-8C Boys Team who were Finalists in the Alliston All-Star Mini Classic.
Our U-7 boys competing at the U-8 level played hard and with a lot of heart scoring
19 goals in 5 games. The team ended with a 2-1-2 record. Our team worked hard
and never gave up as they fought back after being down by 2 goals to end with
a draw in the round robin phase vs. Mooredale S.C., who went undefeated, in the

a rematch in the final game. The coaching staff was extremely proud of our team’s
