This past weekend, Marco Reda’s U16 Boys OYSL team took part in the 2011 Adidas Blue Chip Showcase Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team did a great job representing Canada and the Woodbridge Soccer Club by playing beautiful, entertaining soccer. In their last game, the team defeated the #15 ranked team in the U.S., Ohio FC Juventus, 2-1. The boys were able to showcase their abilities in front of almost 200 college coaches and also attended a live NCAA soccer match. It was a great experience for all.

Congratulations to the Woodbridge Strikers West U15 Boys team on winning the Ontario Indoor Cup on February 14th. The team played very well throughout the tournament winning seven games and tying one. The coaches, parents, and club are extremely proud of the team’s effort.
