HISTORY MADE - FIRST FEMALE OYSL TEAM - 98G
|
The Woodbridge Strikers 1998 (U13) girls team, coached by Peter Statikgiakis finished off a spectacular season tied for first place in the CGSL. This result means that they become the first ever Woodbridge girls team to win promotion to the OYSL.
The club would like would like to congratulate the girls and Coach Peter for this significant contribution to WSC history.

Congratulations to Sarah Stratigakis who has made the shortlist for the U14 Provincial team and was added to the 18 player roster for the Quebec Showcase over the Canada Day weekend.
This is a great achievement for her, our team and our club. We are very Proud of her achievement and wish her all the best this weekend.

The Woodbridge Stikers U13 Girls finished off an impressive indoor season at Wild Water Kingdom by beating the Bolton U14 girls in the finals on Sat. April 23 6-5.

Woodbridge 98/U13 Girls win 96/U15 CTSC MARCH BREAK TOURNAMENT !
Incredible day of soccer for the Woodbridge 98 girls. Entering the tournament with little expectation, our young ladies won every match going undefeated. More important than the result was the manner of how they competed. Our team came out and dominated play with possession and skill throughout each match. Most impressive was the performance of our defence and keeper allowing only 1 GA in 5 games played. Incredible achievement ladies and well deserved!

CONGRATULATIONS TO U13 1998 GIRLS STRIKERS
Competing a year up in the CTSC U14 Tournament was a great experience. Winning the tournament was quite an achievement but, more importantly, they played a beautiful brand of soccer. Possession minded ball a notch higher than last year and that was worth more than the win … great to see and congratulations ladies!

Proud of our girls program continued success story.. GIRLS U12 team coached by Peter Stratigakis were finalists in the Mississauga International Tournament...Competing against top ranked teams in Ontario... it was an excellent showing!

to Quebec to participate in the 2009 Laval International Soccer Cup where they
emerged as the AA Division Champions. Congratulations on a great tournament. . |
