Woodbridge Soccer
Club is proud in having assembled a talented Coaching and Training Staff for the
benefit of its Skills Development Summer Camp participants. Among them you
will find individuals with a variety of playing and coaching experience, which
will benefit both the player and the team achieve their potential. Please see

“Scuola Calcio” - The Academy of Soccer Excellence
was created to give all soccer players from ages 8 to 18 the opportunity to be
exposed to excellent quality training, at a minimal cost. It is intended
to provide any parent interested in developing the soccer skills of their children,
the required foundation to start building winning players and winning teams. |

Time:
Scuola Calcio summer camp is a full time camp
at a weekly rate of $225.00
Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 4:00pm; however,
we are accommodating half day requests at a weekly rate of $125.00. Children
can be dropped off any time after 8:30am. An additional
$5 will be charged per ½ hour for late pick up after 4:00 pm per occurrence.
The office must be notified upon registration for any camper that requires later
pick up.
Activities:
Soccer is the main focus of the camp with fun activities for specific age group
and skill
levels and caters to bother beginners and Rep players.
Players will participate in age appropriate skills development while working on
the fundamentals and emphasizing fun. Focus is on individual skills such
as dribbling, ball control, and passing, receiving, and shooting.
Bring:
Participants can have the option of bringing their own lunch or purchase a food
item from our snack bar ( such as hotdogs etc..) Bring 2 filled bottles of water,
snacks (peanut free), sun block, hat, running shoes (preferably soccer shoes),
shin guards’ (a must), soccer ball. Trained Scuola Calcio staff supervise
the participants at all times including at lunch. We strive to maintain
a PEANUT AND NUT FREE environment. Click

Weather:
If
it rains, activities will continue indoors or in adequate shelter and in case
of very hot weather, activities will continue in shaded areas.
Volunteers:
High
school students can volunteer at the camp in return for credit towards their high
school Community Involvement Hours Program. |

Gianni
Cimini – Training Co-ordinator A former Woodbridge SC, Provincial
and National player, Gianni went on to play 1st Division soccer in the U.S. where
he earned 1st Team All Conference Honors. Gianni was the Head Coordinator
of Skills Development for Old Dominion Soccer School of
Excellence in the United States and has been Coaching both in Woodbridge and with
FC Delco in Philadelphia. Gianni is in the process of completing his Provincial
B Certification |

Sergio
Deluca Former Woodbridge S.C. youth player, played 2 years
with the provincial program before heading to Italy at age 16 to pursue a career
in Soccer. Played youth soccer in Italy for A.C. Prato in Serie C/2 and also played
youth soccer in England with Telford United and Hereford United. Went on to continue
career having played for the Toronto Lynx, Pecs MFC of first division Hungary,
FK Arendal of Second Division Norway, TSV Torgelow of 3rd division Germany and
most recently Hollviken GIF of second division sweden. |
